Details On The Conviction Of Terrell Silver, The Ohio Man Accused Of Mass Murder

PEOPLE reports that Terrell Silver shot and killed Christopher Monroe, 23, Dejuan Damar Willis, 20, Aiyanna Quitman, 19, and Jazmyne Lawson, 18, in Cleveland, Ohio. Additionally, Authorities believe the murders occurred between Sept. 7 and Sept. 21, 2019.

Per Cleveland19, Terrell Silver allegedly entered the victims’ home and shot all of the victims multiple times as they laid on two mattresses, PEOPLE adds.

Furthermore, the outlet also reveals that Silver murdered Jazmyne Lawson when she was five and a half months pregnant.

Cleveland police found the victims’ decomposed bodies inside the house on Sept. 21, 2019, according to the prosecutor’s office.

Right now, there’s no word on how Silver knew the victims.

On Sept. 16 of this year, Silver was convicted of multiple charges, including aggravated murder, felonious assault, attempted murder, and aggravated burglary.

However, on Sept. 30, Silver was given five life sentences without parole and an additional 30 years “to be served consecutively.”

Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael O’Malley emphasized the extensive effort put into the case and assured everyone that the victims will always be remembered.

“This case took several years of hard work by law enforcement, and this demonstrates victims will not be forgotten in Cuyahoga County,” said Prosecutor Michael O’Malley, per Cleveland19.

Family Members Of The Victims Speak Out

During Silver’s sentencing last month,  victims’ family members expressed their feelings and made several statements.

Additionally, Tammy Quitman, Aiyanna’s mother, addressed Silver. Furthermore, the mother stated her deep pain over losing her daughter and her belief that she will never fully recover, per PEOPLE.

“You have destroyed four families and five lives, and for what? I will never be the same. I have to take anxiety medicine. Sometimes I eat, sometimes I don’t,” Tammy Quitman said.
