Lauren Cohan, Mark O’Brien and Mia Tomlinson cast in Amazon’s Stillwater
The three actors join Ben Hardy in the Prime Video horror thriller adapted from Chip Zdarsky and Ramón K Pérez's graphic novel.

Amazon Prime Video has cast three performers as series regulars in Stillwater, an eight-episode horror thriller based on the Skybound graphic novel by Chip Zdarsky and Ramón K Pérez. The trio—Lauren Cohan, Mark O’Brien and Mia Tomlinson—join Ben Hardy, who was previously announced in the lead role of Daniel West, an ex-con drawn back to his hometown by a mysterious letter.
The series, ordered by Amazon ahead of San Diego Comic-Con in July, follows Daniel as he arrives in the small town of Stillwater seeking answers about his past and a promised inheritance, only to discover that the community has stopped aging and dying—and that no one ever leaves.
The cast
Cohan will play Catherine “Cat” Keegan, a former homecoming queen whose charm has grown sharper through years of accumulated grievance and disappointment. Cat stands firmly by her husband Ted, a sheriff’s deputy whom O’Brien will portray, and has long rationalized the couple’s actions as necessary to protect the town’s hidden truth. Cohan is best known for playing Maggie Greene on AMC’s The Walking Dead and its spinoff The Walking Dead: Dead City, where she also serves as an executive producer.
O’Brien takes on the role of Ted Keegan, described as a father, farmer and military veteran. A man accustomed to taking direction and maintaining silence, Ted enforces the town’s harsh rules as a deputy, sometimes resorting to violence, all while concealing a secret capable of destroying his own family. His recent work includes appearances in the Peacock series The Copenhagen Test and the World War II drama Nuremberg.
Tomlinson plays Laura Quinn, Cat’s younger sister and a single mother with a stubborn streak. When her hometown underwent its mysterious transformation, Laura faced a choice with consequences that would reshape both her own path and the town’s future. Tomlinson recently appeared in The Conjuring: Last Rites.
