Biodance launches hydrogel neck patches to address smartphone-era skin damage
The Korean beauty brand's latest product targets fine lines and firmness loss in a previously overlooked area, available in two formulations.

Biodance, the Korean beauty brand behind the viral hydrogel mask category, has introduced Biodance Hydrogel Neck Patches, extending its hydrogel technology to the neck area. The brand said the launch responds to consumer demand for neck-specific treatments, an area that remains underserved despite mounting attention to preventative skincare.
The neck has become a focal point for premature aging, according to the brand. Increased smartphone use and prolonged downward posture now contribute to early formation of wrinkles, weakened skin tone and reduced elasticity in this delicate area, a concern no longer limited to mature skin. Biodance’s new patches are engineered specifically to address these issues.
Product Design and Technology
The Hydrogel Neck Patches feature a flexible 3D gel matrix designed to conform to the neck’s natural contours and accommodate frequent movement. The brand said the hydrogel creates a second-skin fit that resists slipping, supported by 3,000 integrated micro-grip dots that enhance contact with the skin to improve delivery of active ingredients.
The patches come in two formulations. The Caviar PDRN version combines 10 percent Caviar Water and Caviar Extract with 50 ppm Salmon PDRN, a substance derived from DNA according to the brand, which it claims supports the skin’s natural renewal and improves density and smoothness.
The Collagen Peptide variant delivers 10 percent low-molecular-weight collagen water and collagen extract alongside a 10-peptide blend formulated to enhance firmness, smoothness and skin resilience.
Expansion of Hydrogel Ecosystem
The neck patches represent the latest addition to Biodance’s growing portfolio of hydrogel products. According to the brand, it now sells four hydrogel masks every second globally, with over 350 million masks sold to date. The product line has broadened to encompass the Real Deep Mask, Gel Toner Pads, Jelly Serum Mist, and Eye Patches, with the new neck treatment continuing this expansion.
Biodance founder Mihwa Kim launched the brand in 2021 after discovering hydrogel’s potential during her personal experience with skin damage and recovery. The company said it has engaged board-certified dermatologists Dr. Luke Maxfield and Dr. Christopher Tomassion to conduct clinical research. One recent study examined how Biodance’s Real Deep Mask supports skin recovery after laser treatment, finding that a single application produced prompt restoration of the skin barrier, diminished visible redness, stronger hydration levels, and no adverse effects.
Availability and Pricing
Biodance Hydrogel Neck Patches are priced at $19 for a 4-pack and are available beginning October 19 at Biodance.com and Amazon.
