Goodal, owned by Clio Cosmetics Co., Ltd, is now available at Costco as of November 3rd with its Green Tangerine Vita-C Spot Care Serum Alpha. According to the brand, the serum has ranked as the number-one seller at Olive Young, a major South Korean beauty retailer, for seven consecutive years.

The brand credits its serum’s durability to a formula that it says is clinically shown to address dark spots, post-acne marks and uneven skin tone in seven days.

The product roadmap

Goodal will add a companion product to its Costco presence in early 2027: the Green Tangerine Vita-C Spot Care Cream, the company said. The serum and cream form part of the Green Tangerine range, the brand’s most recognizable collection.

Brand positioning

Founded in 2011, Goodal built its reputation on fermented skincare ingredients and proprietary technology. The company operates under the principle “Good For All,” creating what it describes as gentle, effective skincare that combines natural components with fermentation science.

Strategic fit at Costco

Annie Chang, US B2B Team Manager at Goodal, positioned the warehouse club as an aligned retail partner. “This serum is a high-performance, high-value proposition, and bang for the buck matters to shoppers today more than ever, as people contend with higher prices,” Chang said. “Costco has always been a favorite place for people to find little luxuries that they can purchase guilt-free, knowing they are getting the best deal on products and brands they trust.”

Costco has assembled what the brand views as one of the strongest Korean beauty assortments available outside specialty retail, according to the announcement. Caroline Seong, US Marketing Manager at Goodal, noted that the placement furthers the brand’s goal of distributing across multiple channels. “The launch of Green Tangerine Vita-C Spot Care Serum Alpha at Costco is another step in making Goodal widely available to Korean skincare fans wherever they are and wherever they like to shop,” Seong said in the statement.
