Scentbird, the fragrance discovery platform, has unveiled The Twilight Saga: New Moon Eau de Parfum as the second scent in its partnership with Lionsgate. The limited-edition fragrance became available October 1 exclusively through Scentbird, following a debut Twilight fragrance that the company says has been a strong seller since its introduction.

According to Scentbird, the New Moon scent interprets the emotional arc of the second film through fragrance notes. Glowing amber and rich sandalwood create the base, leaving a persistent warm trail. Scentbird describes it as a floral amber fragrance meant to evoke the film’s themes of love, longing and devotion.

Pricing and available formats

The full-size 50 ml bottle retails at $90, while the 20 ml mini bottle costs $39. A 9 ml travel spray is priced at $25, and an 8 ml 30-day supply is $21.95. Scentbird also sells a 1.5 ml sample for $4.95 and a fragrance case for $18.95. Subscribers to Scentbird’s platform can incorporate the New Moon fragrance into their monthly discovery rotation, selecting it as part of their regular service.

Fan engagement and promotion

Scentbird is centering the launch on direct engagement with the franchise’s devoted audience. The company plans to distribute samples at the Forever Twilight in Forks Festival and work with Twilight cast members Jackson Rathbone and Peter Facinelli on storytelling rooted in their fandom. Elena Lécué, chief marketing officer at Scentbird, described the fragrance as part of a broader strategy: “With The Twilight Saga: New Moon Eau de Parfum, we’re going deeper into one of the saga’s most emotionally resonant chapters, translating that feeling into a fragrance fans can wear, collect and make their own.”

The Twilight Saga’s box office success

The five Twilight films earned more than $3.3 billion at the worldwide box office, according to Scentbird’s announcement. Stephenie Meyer’s source novels, which inspired the films, have sold over 160 million copies globally and been translated into 49 languages. Lionsgate is also developing a television adaptation of Meyer’s novel Midnight Sun for Netflix.
